Ewahh, macam kak teh, kita pun ter-mula dengan lagu dari Sound of Music, everybody's favourite musical tu hah. Life has gone back to normal since we came back. I'm again running around the house after my 1 year old daughter, trying to fix meals for all of us on time, and if there is some energy left, I will take a look at the pile of laundry. With the recent banner project, I have voluntarily ommited the last bit of my routine, hehe.
When life goes on in a circle like that, sometimes I imagine a trip to Salzburg, on the mountains, singing loud wholeheartedly...The Hillss Are Aliveeeeee, with the Sound of Musiiicccc....Running, giggling with no cares in this world. But the real world has too much in it to deal with, and being realistic is one of it. One, a trip to Salzburg just so I could sing like Maria the Nun takes time and money. Both of which we're very careful to dispense right now. But I longed to be that girl again, the youthful Maria, free spirited..and irresponsible. But no, this MakNenek is no longer all that. However, could I hurt someone that I love, when I express these thoughts to him? Will he feel bad about himself because he cannot fulfil some of the dreams that I had since I was a girl? It was a wild thought that passes her mind once in a blue moon night, and like the blue moon, it will come to pass.
However, back to that song on top. I began to scratch the surface of my soul for things that could make me just as happy. For example, last night, I happily dug out the frozen 'asian' catfish from the freezer, and turn it into fish curry with bamiah. Pounded some sambal belachan and fried a telor dadar, and that! fuyooooh, tak leh nak cakap apa lagi daa.. kata orang, mak mertua lalu pun tak sedar nuuuhhh...
What else that could make me happy?
1. Any new thing Binti does!
2. When Habibi spends the evening with us, and be horsie for Binti!
3. Getting a call from home, be it family or friends
4. Getting a call from anywhere (since the network has expandedlah katakan)
5. Actually being in Germany, I should be happy if I'm getting a call at all!
6. Receiving parcel from Singapore (or anywhere for that matter!)
7. Unwrapping parcel that just arrived - sure dapat Ikan Bilis, Milo, dan sekian maklum
8. Walks in the afternoon, on a good weather, dok lepak kat park, near the fountain, read a book
9. Finding Serai & Chilli padi at the local supermarket!
10. Finding a fresh WHOLE chicken once in awhile (Halal one lah)
11. Baking a cake! (Successfully!!!)
12. When Habibi likes the cake I made!
13. Wearing shoes without socks
14. Having the right herbs at the right time!
15. Riding my bicycle
16. Hearing Habibi locking the garage, and then running with Binti to the door to greet him.
17. My new hobby, Designing Banners for blogspot kawan2 :)
will add more when i think of them!

4) the sun, masyaAllah!!! heat, i need heat!

What makes Blabs happy:-
1. Picking hubs from LRT/work/anywhere and getting all excited and giggly for that kiss and hug!!
2. Whenever hubs suddenly hugs/kisses me out of the blue or calls me just to tell me how much he loves me.
2A. Just cuddling up with hubs without needing to say anything .. and on the flip scale, when he behaves like the biggest moron on earth but cracks me up everytime!!
3. Looking at beautiful scenic landscapes with a nice cool breeze to complement it.
4. Hearing Tigger my cat wail and meow through the closed window from our apartment the minute he hears us get out of the lift on our floor (bunyi complain mengada that's very hard to describe, but SO lovable)
5. The way Tigger religiously plops himself right between my face and hubs before we sleep (ie indicating that HE's more important) and when he curls up between my legs when I sleep in bed (resulting in my legs cramping up always lah, in the morning)
6. HEaring little kids laugh that hearty, innocent laugh that just draws your attention, no matter what you're doing.
7. Being able to eat the food I like or crave (no, not pregnant, but memanjang mengidam)!!
8. Knowing and realising now that the Almighty is always there, watching, listening, protecting, comforting.
9. Having true friends around me - of which recently I have found a whole lot more in the most unlikeliest of places - here, in blogosphere. :)

1) Tido lenyak [sp?], takde orang kacau, takde phone berdering... :)
